  Re: More pictures!

(...) John, James, and Larry- I took Jordan's message to mean "LEGO train club builder's don't have to spend a lot of time or pieces on actual trains". His message clearly goes on to say that as a non-train guy we've got him thinking that an LTC (...) (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, FTX)

Re: Now that I've had a chance to see the new colors

(...) I think that's overstating the problem, just a little. There are plenty of rocks, stones, even castles that are quite a "metallic" colour of grey. Yes, the old dark grey did have a nice "organic" feel to it, but really I don't think that the (...) (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Old style danish country house in Miniland scale

(...) Its nice to see MOCs in Miniland scale. The roof looks absolutely fantastic - it looks very natural and "sits" very well on the house. The colour scheme is also nice, especially red/sand red and the greys at the base. The black roof and white (...) (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Fwd from a builder: Colors don't match, among other things!

(...) Two new colours shouldnt be a big issue for sorting. If you are keen eyed, it'll be easy, and if not, then you won't care about the difference. (...) You will be able to figure this out simply by referring to the date of the set. Also, Lugnet, (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) I'm not a frequent poster to Lugnet, but I read it almost every day. From my perspective, Lego has been doing better stuff than ever, especially in 2003: 1. *Creator, Designer and Inventor sets 2. *Fascinating tubs at great prices 3. *Return (...) (...) Mac OS 9 does not have a command line. That OS is a dinosaur. You can think of Mac OS X as a decendant of BSD, with a Mac OS 9 look-a-like window server. In fact, you can remove Apple's window server and add X11, turning Mac OS X into just (...) (21 years ago, 6-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)
