  Re: Maiden's cart - Castle set 6023

(...) I know the feeling..... when I got those 35 London Bus sets back in the 1980's, I opened every single set! (Ouch!!!) I ripped off the shrink wrap of every single one of them, and sorted all the pieces (there were 840 classic windows!) In (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: 8x11 box and plate

Manuel is correct. It is the Architectural Series Parts pack box (#518, 519, 520, 521). Originally, these were made in red/white/blue/black...ray/clear, but NOT yellow (that color was not a part of the Architectural sets). I have about 40 of these (...)   Re: Maiden's cart - Castle set 6023

The ones that I got were the 760 (US version). Even though they were 1975-76 sets, I got them in 1985 at about 6 different toy clearance stores in the metro Detroit area (about 5-7 per store). The reason that I scoured all their stores in the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Maneul, Please check the Architectural boxes again. You might have 4 varieties, but I could swear that there are only 3. I will go home tonight and check again. After today I won't be able to post again here until Monday. As for your parts pack box. (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: What is the deal with 1x1 Blue Plates?

(...) There is a Town set, a house with a sloping yellow roof (I can't remember the number). This might be a European only set, but I cannot verify that either. That is the only set I can remember that even had yellow apex bricks, although a pirate (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

No Duq, there are other neurotics out there. My LEGO Cathedral (still unfinished) has thousands of red 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x6 and 1x8 bricks. Most of them were from my old cathedral which I built in 1986, but destroyed in 1996 to build the new one. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) I have about 200 of the old style tiles (with no lip on the bottom) from a German collector (all white). And I am setting them aside for that "invisible" look (that Steve just described) in one of my new buildings. Gary Istok (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.general)

1960's Golden Years of Parts Packs

Ya know how I'm always harping about how nice the 1960's assortment of parts packs were (1963 there were 138 different in USA).
