| | Re: End of week speculation?

| (...) Well here's my "too good to be true" speculation...... They are going to allow us to buy any bricks/parts that the model shops have access to, as well as some old discontinued parts..... (light blue bricks... 1x2x2 windows in black, gray, and (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

Ben, yes the USA is the center of the known Universe. :-) If you want any bulk orders before it is available in Australia, I am sure that there are many AFOLs in North American and (Germanic) Europe that would be happy to order for you until (...) | | Re: Mystery brick
|
| (...) Interestingly enough I have a similar brick, but it is a red ABS 2x8 brick with a hole in the center, rather than to one side. I haven't had time to investigate it yet. But something tells me it is from the period 1966-75. Gary Istok (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| | Building Idea Book 1 (#238)
|
| I just got a hoard of old 1960's LEGO from a USA Ebay Auction over the weekend. Among the lot, I was expecting a tattered copy of the very first Lego idea book, the Building Idea Book 1 (LEGO reference #238). This book was produced from 1960-68 in (...) |
| Nice pictures - the Town Plan during rush hour. Looks like this person has been built up quite a collection of the old metal wheeled LEGO cars from the 50's-60's. He has it all set up nicely on the Town Plan Board (#200), and built many of the old (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: WOOD LEGO
|
| (...) There are a lot of wooden toys made by TLC. They were produced until Feb. 4, 1960, when there was a fire that destroyed the wooden toy warehouse in Billund. After that date, TLC got out of the wooden toy business to concentrate on the plastic (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)
