  Re: This is just funny.

(...) WOW, it looks like the old 700e baseplate (10x20) used since the 1950's, which I haven't seen around in a long time. The white plate shown here was discontinued in the late 70's or early 80's (along with the gray one). The yellow, green, red (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: new piece idea

(...) I think also that TLC should make new town windows. Between 1957-77, TLC made 9 different window types. Today we have the 2x2, the 4x3 and a few large 4x5, 4x6 etc windows, but not the variety of the classic era. I woundn't mind if they (...) Hey Scott, you didn't even ask me to go along! (Heh-heh, we work about 2 miles apart). We should get Mark Koesel and meet for lunch again before (or after) the holidays.... Great ideas Erik! Only you've got the wrong Italian city for the Ponte Vecchio. It is actually in Florence.   Re: The War of yellowcastle Storyboard

Very nice indeed Thomas! I have to say that this, the first major attempt by TLC at the Castle series (1982), was in many ways better than the later grey/black castle sets. Bryan, Good luck finding them. I have 6 of them, but they are all tied up in my One Shell Plaza office building. These are one of the rarest of all large windows.
