  Re: Analogue Control of Pneumatics

(...) I wouldn't say that at all. Its just that you'd need a good supply of compressed air (there's plenty of compressor designs about) and a good feedback mechanism. This is by no means impossible - just a bit tricky. ROSCO trimmed lugnet.general (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Battleship Casemates: Proof of Principle Model

Hi all, For the last few years I've been building big warships, and a single persistent problem--casemates--has been driving me up the proverbial wall. (...) Thanks, Dave! That was the look I tried to get after it sprouted wings... I've always liked that look. Small spaceships, in my mind, should be able to fly without using 'impossible' technology like anti-gravity. -JHK (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: 12V and 9V on same track footprint

As you say this is hardly possible. We did that in 2001 (www.hot.ee/sonnich/lego/ - under galleries you will find the Baltic Train Event), and found it hard (impossible) with curved rails. We used straight rail for a "border" station between the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)
