  Re: A Question

(...) Because it's kind of cool to have something sealed in a box, knowing that it's in perfect condition? Because once you open it, you no longer have it in the perfect state it was previously in?   Firmware startup bug?

Probably related to the garbage on the lcd that you get when turning off the RCX with a sensor active: if there is a light or rotation sensor or a pressed touch sensor connected to the RCX when you download firmware legOS will crash immediately (...)   New LBFR Engine

The Lego Beach Fire and Rescue Service has put a new engine into service at station three. It is loosely based on a couple of older Pierce pumpers currently in service with the Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, KY) Fire Department. You may use the (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

New Train Window Ideas (old and copied)

  Re: A Question

(...) Very astute obs... the Fitness Programme of TLG/C is providing us a once in a lifetime opportunity. I expect never again to see this many older sets surface in such a short span of time. I mean, 300 blue hoppers? Who'd have thought? (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Me too. However it seems I spend 50% of my "lego time" here, which is fun, and 45% on commerce, which only sort of is... and at best 5% on actual building. Since I have multiple copies of the sets I was referring to, I don't have to actually (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
