John2, You may not need to get a couple of million bricks for your 8 wide layout. You can just use mine. It will be built to allow 8 wide trains to run. I fixed the problems with the turns being too sharp and am going to next fix the track point (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I'd have to agree... it all depends on what you want... if you look at something like Strombrachter, you'll notice that 80-90% of the walls are all castle wall sections. That helps a lot, since you don't need to build them out of actual (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

I viewed the pages w/Netscape and as some folks pointed out, the left frame shows a horizontal slider (it doesn't with MSIE). So I widened the frame a bit.
