  Re: 0.2.3 bug report

(...) will (...) feelers. (...) This also happens if you have light sensors attached to the RCX. The only way to get the semi-random junk to go away with light sensors attached is to (duh) un-attach the light sensors, or turn the RCX on and off (...)   SV: stupid question: meaning of RAW

Raw means that the Analog to digital converters 10 bit value is fetched directly, without converting it to another scale. Jari ps since it is ten bits it is between 0 and 1023 (or possibly 1 and 1024) -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: dominic (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

dominic frutiger <lego-robotics@crynwr.com> wrote in message news:3884B641.A5ABBB...ethz.ch... (...) That is about all there is to RAW. It gives you a number 0-1023 which is the raw value from the analog to digital converter. The input range is 0 to (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  RE: An Easter Egg-Plotter

(...) I've got just one word.....COOL!!!! This might be a fun little competition. Maybe a recursive fractal program generating a Sierpinski (sp?) carpet pattern on the egg? Or a random "drunkard's Path" simulating Brownian motion? Or a more (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: stupid question: meaning of RAW

Raw values are the values that come straight out of the sensor to the RCX. Usually these values are interpreted in a specific way depending on what kind of sensor it is. For example, the touch sensor is thought of as a boolean- it is touched, or it (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Attention Lego Group: Children don't like juniorization, either!

(...) And, even if you don't like Star Wars, most of the Models are *great*. And the UCS models should be keepers for everyone! :) Jeff (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  An Easter Egg-Plotter

Here's an interesting idea for a robot that colors Easter Eggs. (URL) This isn't Lego, but I don't see how it couldn't be done with MindStorms. For the record, this was the User Friendly cool link of the day, www.userfriendly.org/static/ (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: free-for-all in space

(...) Maybe someone should create wargaming rules for this, then have an online battle. One person per faction, and such. It would probably work best if you consider BT I & II separate factions, and split classic space into factions (based on canopy (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: yellow antenna

(...) I don't usually ask Consumer Affairs to replace pieces I've lost or broken. But, I will occasionally, if the element is rare. One doesn't have to lie, as Paul mistakenly assumes.
