This might be a fun little competition. Maybe a recursive fractal
program generating a Sierpinski (sp?) carpet pattern on
the egg?

Or a random "drunkard's Path" simulating Brownian motion?

Or a more conventional simple spiral pattern?

How about a colouring (this spelling is correct in the civilized world)
contest for Mindstorms robots? No prizes, just fun!!!

Here's an interesting idea for a robot that colors Easter Eggs. (URL) This isn't Lego, but I don't see how it couldn't be done with MindStorms. For the record, this was the User Friendly cool link of the day, www.userfriendly.org/static/ (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
