Hi! knowing my newbie luck for finding inflated prices and paying them, I thought I'd ask for anyones opinion on how much I paid this time :) I found 5541 (Blue Fury: (URL) for 29 quid - which as it was the only one there I snapped it up! At a (...) (27 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Q: Pieces/Sets Indentification

Hello, My mother picked up an unbelievable haul of Lego at a garage sale. She paid $30 for, so far, what seems to be at least $450 worth of Lego. Some of the sets were already built, but many were only partially built or not built at all. I'm in the (...) (27 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.build)

  Tracks

Hi, I'm not really a train fan *boo* *hiss* - which is why I'm asking this! Not having paid close attention to trains and stuff, I have the belief that track is hard to come by? This might be totally squiffy - because straight and curvy track things (...) (27 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Target Halloween buckets.

I was at my local Target at 8:00am and there was a mad rush of people snapping up all of the clearance stuff. I then went to four more Targets that make a nice circle back to my house (I was gone a total of an hour and a half), by the time a got to (...) (27 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

Ad for Ebay in Sunday Paper

Rachael saw a full-page ad for Ebay in the Parade magazine section of the Sunday paper today. Guess they're really pushing to grow even larger than they already have. (27 years ago, 1-Nov-98, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Scans Ready: Star Wars, Rock Raiders, and other 1999 sets.

(...) I dunno. It's certainly a lot bigger than any Town Jr. vehicles I can think of. And while I agree that the wings are too small, that's a fairly typical flaw of lego aircraft -- and since it's Lego, that's not too hard to fix. I think the (...)
