  NQC beta test release policy

As this is my first post to this newsgroup, I thought I'd start by saying how wonderful I think nqc is etc. I got the RIS 1.5 for xmas and had nqc up and running in no time on my linux system. As well as being an excellent language and bytecode (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: FS: R2D2 decorative pieces from Droid Dev Kit?

(...) It IS programmable via IR if you have an IR from an RIS. that seems to increase the versatility a fair bit, akthough I haven't tried it yet. (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Looking for a sealed 6337 Fast Track Finish

(...) That may be in AUS dollars so it's not that big an upcharge, but you'd also be paying shipping. But I'm not sure if Mark meant Australian or had already converted to USD. (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Tough to find pieces

(...) Aha. I was looking at the picture of 6077, the US release, on LUGNET - and it appears to have the 'holy' cylinder. It looks like only the European set (677) had the cylinder with the solid top. So that would explain your problems... After a (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Do you mean the dk gray Scala vases that make up the exhaust ports of the engines, or the lt gray barrel pieces that make up the, err, barrel of the exhaust? Hey! Does this mean I can model that crummy vase piece in LDraw, and not have to (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

  Some Belville parts questions

Hidey-ho[1] there, I read Frank's Belville reviews and it finally dawned on me that these confabulations of pink might actually contain useful parts[2]. But I have a couple of questions... 1) Is Princess Rosalind really wearing an Aquazone crystal (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.belville)

  Automatic decoupler designs?

LEGO train knuckles don't lend themselves to decoupling. Has anyone got a good design (either as part of a switch engine or fixed to the track) design for an automated separator? I'm close to an in-engine (but very ugly) solution which can pry a (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Grecian Urn

Hi Brian :) Looks great! for the most part you used only 2x4 bricks? I see 1x's in the pic with the 3 parts are they just for stability? I'm always amazed when I see "square" bricks making a circular creation! 2x4 bricks seem to be what I lack most (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: What all has TLC done?

I will have to agree with Z. I do love space theme. I do love SW but they are not lot option for me. For example: in space you have the minifigs in space suit and you can create many different type of ships. With SW minifigs, will you like to use (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: 7124 - Flash Speeder Parts

My wife went and bought her 'own' basic red bucket at TRU just to prove she isn't 'NON-LEGO'. She built a car and some type of building. I think we should come up with some more acronyms - they seem to make my wife go into action. Eugwe Coral (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Changed Days

(...) Do you not like the sets because they have gone down in value? IMHO, this whole internet buying and selling business has good and bad parts to it.
