Hidey-ho[1] there,
I read Frank's Belville reviews and it finally dawned on me that these
confabulations of pink might actually contain useful parts[2]. But I
have a couple of questions...
1) Is Princess Rosalind really wearing an Aquazone crystal on her head?
It sure looks that way in the catalog...
2) Do trans-grey (smoke) gems exist in Belville? (Or anywhere else?)
3) Are there kittens of other colors than white and tiger-striped?
4) How big are the carrots and such compared to a minifig?[3]
5) Are the flowers on the garland in 5824 the same as normal 'system'
flowers? i.e. do they fit on the little three-stem 'flower' pieces?
6) Are the fancy pillars in 5824 connected at the top, or are they 4
separate pieces? [4]
Thanks for any info!

Footnotes:
[1] - That's a "Kermit the Frog" 'hidey-ho' and not a Mr. Hankey[5]
"how-dee-hoooo", BTW.
[2] - Actually, my Blue Wizard saw the reference to 'trans dk. blue
gems'. He's been jealous of Green ever since I picked up the new
castle set with it's dark green gem and replaced the yellow-green
gem on his magic staff with that. Have you ever had to put up
with a Wizard in a snit?[6]
[3] - "Yup, that's my prize-winnin' carrot. Feed a family for a week.
If'n y'like carrots."
[4] - I'm assuming that the white fencelike object below is the same
as the odd fence that was in the DACTA castle set in red...
[5] - If you don't know, DON'T ASK. 8)
[6] - Black seems completely fine with the arrangement (and his red
gem), but he keeps skulking about and measuring the other minifig's
skulls. I'm *really* not sure what he's up to this time...

| (...) No, it's more crown shaped, and has a tiny pin on the bottom which fits into the hole all the Belville figures have on the top of their head (this pin is the same size as the pin on the 3 pronged flower stems). (...) Haven't seen one yet. (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.belville)
