  Re: Track set #155

(...) There were 8 blue straight rails for sure, and at least 4 white 2x8 plates, but most likely 8 of those as well. John Boreczky (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

hello can someone please tell me what does the following command line mean? bit_set(0x0e, 1 << (4 + motor)); i know that 0x0e refers to memory location $0E but how does bit_set work? is it similar to poke? and more importantly, what operation does (...)   Re: eBay lego sniping? Why it is a problem?

Well if you grant that psychology is a legitimate reason to cater to bidders (and if catered to, I think most would agree, the seller would get more money by getting people to inch up a bit from what they thought their max was) then fixed end time (...)   Track set #155

I just received a partial set #155. Does anyone know what pieces actually came with this track-supplement set? All I got in the box were 2 blue cross-track pieces but I think there were other pieces, specifically some white 2 x 8 Plates. -Tim (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Implementation question

Hi Ronald! Ok - my HB is working now. I got the right 1233-10 (10 means 10% of 5v - reset is going up on 4.5v). This seem to work better. Second thing is the 350ms delay seem to be necessary in normal reset. The second thing was that the power (...) (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Voltage for the DC motor

hi, I noticed that the picture of the HB in the Web page is slight different from mine. There is no thick trace on my HB to be cut. However, the HB in the web page has a thick trace on it ? My version of the board is 1995, Fred Martin. Please help. (...) (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Thoughts on 1999 sets

(...) Someone on RTL suggested that these are ZNAP, not real lego at all. I've not seen ZNAP, or even good pictures of ZNAP, so I can't tell. Thoughts? (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)

  Best-Lock seen in the UK

I saw some of the Best-Lock sets in a shop in Bath this week. This particular shop typically sells Lego at prices 10-20% higher than Argos. Despite this, the Best-Lock sets were very cheap for the piece counts. 400 to 480 pieces were £11.50 and the (...) (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Snowspeeder is originally small vehicle already. It has less than Half of the Length of X-wing, according to the blue prints of Hoth Base hangar from the SW Technical Journal. It looks just OK (if it has a place at cockpit back for a second (...) (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Scans Ready: Star Wars, Rock Raiders, and other 1999 sets.

Hey, it's not an A-wing, It's a Snow Speeder. For the B-wings, It should be included to the first way of sets I think. Since the second way of sets will be featuring the new triology of old times (according to the press releases) and B-wing was not (...) (27 years ago, 31-Oct-98, to lugnet.starwars)
