Do you want $50 for a $20 set?

Hello LUGNET, I have had absolutely no luck getting a 6557. I have been looking for over nine months now and I am desperate. I am now offering $50 to anyone who can sell me one. My son's B-day is coming up and he has a Divers collection complete (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains)

(...) Yup, it's a great story. I've got a story/theme that links most of my castle stuff together, but like most of my projects, it advances at a snail's pace. :/ James (URL) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  K-Mart, BOGO 50%

I was in a K-Mart today, starting the new year out right by shopping for Lego. When I went to get a price check on something, I was suprised to see 'BOGO 50%' show on the register. Good post, mostly. Right, mostly... Bask away, Jasper... (...) My take on that is that Brad himself has imposed a deadline of "summer" for things to start happening. A lot must be done between now and then for this thing not to be stillborn. (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

In the US I believe it is illegal to employ someone and pay them less than minimum wage, and I believe it is illegal for a for profit company to use someone as a volunteer. I don't make the laws, I just laugh at them. (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
