  Stena Ferries going cheap!!

I have two popular and rare Stena Ferry promos for auction on eBay: 2998 - Stena Line Hydrofoil (1999) 1548 - Stena Line Ferry (1992) These are (were) only available on Stena Ferries in Sweden. Very rare sets with lots of cool pieces! Great sets in (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Mindstorms spirit.ocx programming = RCX ASM coding?

(...) Certainly; and it's in their best interest, too. And anything that elicits formal recognition from LEGO - even if in a slightly backhanded way like this - is worthy of respect, given their past and as-yet-still-current policy of not (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

All Hail Larry! At the risk of drifting off-topic allow me to digress a moment. John, are you a lurking Larritarian?! If so, rejoice!   no y2k sets here, but i aint sad!

i don't know what's going on, but the stores 'round here (macon, ga) have been in some sort of time warp, and rather than putting out new sets, there have been older sets appearing! i picked up #6263 ~imperial outpost for $20, and several #6236 (...) Whoops! Sorry for the *ugly* post! 80 characters per line? Is it me, MS, or other? I hate it when that happens! I still meant what I said about Larry, though. John John Matthews <jmatthew@columbus.rr.com> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) method (...) Yeah, accordian doors would work. Also, to return to yesteryear, a classic space design is to use the 1x2 x 1x2 brick hinges to open up to equal halves of the back of the ship. I supposed that could be applied to bay doors that (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Bulk Pieces suggestions

Dear LEGO, As you know, I am planning to build a replica of the Empire State Building. However, smaller houses do prevail. Sloped bricks of available colors and configurations are necessary. Hips and gables are a necessity to distinguish any house, (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)
