  Re: General Comments to MLCad

(...) Yep. LDLite does things like 0 COLOR <color definition information> along with other stuff, and the HTML instruction generator in LDAO recognizes a subassembly statement: 0 SUB <file> <layout options> and in lugnet.cad.dev, we're proposing to (...)   Re: Seeking info - Defense Archer - Europe only set?

(...) Yeah, I've been reading those. Brad Justus never said we couldn't discuss them, though (at least, not to my knowledge). Since nothing has been said, discussions are fair game as far as I am concerned. Jeff (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Installation error on New RIS 1.5

Re; ATI, I didn't find anything about Direct X problems on their site.. I'll look at MicroSoft. IsThere any contact at LEGO that should be advised of this type of install problem?? Maybe they would be ready for the Christmas-Morning Crash Rush... (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Line in the Sand

(...) In that case, why are we wiggling about with this BFC extension stuff? Rendering programs can figure out what order vertices should be put in, and they can figure out which way a polygon is facing. They don't need all this extra effort from us (...)   Re: Line in the Sand

(...) Matrix-inversions are not evil. But for some reason, using them to actually invert subfiles is evil (as opposed to using INVERTNEXT to invert subfiles). If I reallly needed an answer to this, I'd go read past messages. But I *do* remember: a) (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Experimenting with Brasso (tm)

(...) OK, so exactly what is Brasso composed of ? Is it a mild abrasive ? If so, then perhaps toothpaste would work as well. Ray (who has not begun to scrub parts) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Color Schemes of Passenger Trains

I think the standard UP colors debuted in the mid/late 30s. I have a brochure from (19)36 that shows those colors, although it doesn't actually have a picture of a train to verify that they were painting the trains those colors that early. -- Have (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Longest train?

Not quite...it is CN and BNSF. :( although, I can see why. The Canadian railways have always had some US feeder lines (CN owned CV and GTW (CN used to be GT :) ).   Quick Clubcar Q

I heard the Club Car (Euro Express Tourist Car - 4547) described as being a "Limited Edition". Is this really the case, or is it just my seller's hype? Or perhaps it was just limited in the UK? see it: (URL) A (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
