I'm told on this newsgroup that Brasso(tm), some wonderful stuff you can pick up at the home improvement store, works great for this, and for removing the paint from printed blocks. Any takers on these? All these sets are in mint condition with no pieces missing, all come in boxes that are in excellent shape and original instructions. I would say the worst pieces are those that can only serve one purpose and cannon be re-used for any other purpose. Examples of that would be: 1. All pirate ship hulls 2. Also, I dialed all of the different phone numbers listed and they all go right to Shop @ Home.... So, evidence tells me that LDM is just S@H renamed for the in-box mini catalogs.
