Re: Help: Re: review: LEGO '99

(...) (Note, I use the web interface to LUGNET. The following relates to that, not other newsreaders.) For a long time I've wished that set numbers in postings would be clickable. This would be a killer feature! The web display of messages already (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

RE: Sale Postings (was: Super Car on sale)

I was thinking along the same lines of Michael. These two sets in particular have been discussed repeatedly and in great length here before. I think people are a little over sensitive about what they perceive is off-topic. In a little more than a (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Sale Postings (was: Super Car on sale)

Respectfully, I have to make just couple more comments: I agree that these sets (8848, 8880, 8480) are great for robotics. If someone asked in this group (.robotics) "what sets are good as add-ons for spare parts for robotics?", then you have a (...)   Re: "Fixing" movable dividers in Plano boxes

Hot glue is brill... NICE idea Ralph! It would be more of a mechanical connection, though,as the glue does not bond to plastic (unless you get a special kind, I don't think). My suggestion, along the same "mechanical" lines, would be Elmers(tm) (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.storage)

  Parts Wanted

Please see my wanted page at (URL) prices are certainly negotiable (upward, in most cases) for the right collection of stuff.   Massive 4-8-8-4 Steam locomotive pics posted

As a direct result of Larry Pieniazek's off the cuff "couldn't be done" remark of a few days ago, I posted pictures of my massive steam locomotive with 4-8-8- 4 wheel configuration that I have just built over the weekend. At 68 studs long (not (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

4561 on sale at Family Toy Warehouse

Anybody out there? Just thought I'd post that 4561 Railway Express is on sale for $89 at Family Toy Warehouse. That's an okay price, but I got them to knock another 20% off because the last one at the Greentree store was ripped up quite a bit. And (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.pit)

Re: Sr. VP Justus of LEGO Direct.

Señor Justus, You write that your firm intends to be more receptive to Adult Fans of LEGO. I am quite pleased to hear this.   RE: Help: Re: review: LEGO '99

In fact, (at least last time I checked) if you typed in a set number the generic search engine was smart enough to recognize a set number and go directly to a set description (instead of to a post discussing the set.) -Luis (...) ###...### Profanity (...)   Re: 2000 Star Wars sets are out in US

(...) 6095 Royal Joust showed up in a TRU in Salem, NH. I found it 12/13 but the shelf tag had a date of 12/10. It was the only 2000 set there, but I saw the LEGO lady and she said that more might show up tomorrow... J (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)
