  Re: Wowwww!!!!

(...) L'inizio di una nuova era!!!!!! Altro che nuovo millennio (o presunto tale)! Proporrei di fondare un nuovo sistema di misurazione del tempo, un nuovo calendario che parte dal 9 dicembre 1999, nuovo 1° giorno dell'anno zero :-)))) Mario (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: RIS 1.5 help!!??

I believe you can run the software at 800 x 600 (not a problem for most) at 256 colors. It supports _up to_ 16-bit color. There also may be DirectX issues which might be your actual problem. Will it run at all? --Doug Wilcox WordSmith Digital (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  RIS 1.5 help!!??

Hello all! I have just received my upgrade to version 1.5 in the mail and I'm having trouble with the software because it requires so much from my system. I believe it needs 800x600 and 16 bit high color which my system cannot do. Why would they (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New 2000 sets in Lego.com European catalog!

(...) This is very odd, as they're still there for me. Maybe because I'm in a European (.co.uk) domain when I'm surfing? Mind you, doing all those reverse DNS lookups must be costly. (Added .off-topic.geek for technical discussion, if it (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) Nono - FOUR Stormtroopers, ONE Tie Fighter pilot ;-) Or release a Stormtrooper pack, and other minifig PACKS - yes, plural.   Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) Just to clarify, my suggestion was meant to inspire the idea that a new hierchy be established (ie, "lugnet.lego-direct", "lugnet.lego-direct.bulk", etc), rather than skipping straight to segmenting lugnet.dear-lego. If the main group in the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Excuse me, but what are 'BURPS'?

(...) MIB=Mint In Box MISB=Mint In Sealed Box Neither refers to the actual condition of the box... other than the fact that it is/is not sealed.   Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) I did not mean to imply that TLC should get rid of pink. All I meant was that pink or any other color should not be the primary marketing influence for a product. I think pink is great but it should not be a requirement for a set to me (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

I would think as a minimum we'd need: dear-lego.bulk (requests to add a part to the service) dear-lego.rant dear-lego.sets (discuss what sets to rerelease, if that is ever a possibility - by rerelease, I mean the original set OR a remake like (...)   Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

Wow, what great news! A lot of people have mentioned that they would like to have bulk ordering of parts and less juniorization of the sets, so I'm not going to say anything more about that. I would like to say that what I really like with the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

3 Points 1. Well, I'm not surprised. By speaking to "LUGNet" Brad appears to think he is speaking to only US AFOL's. 2. Before promoting the Lego "brand", I'd sort the product out first 3.
