Re: Buying the 1.0 to 1.5 upgrade kit in the UK

F-M, I ordered all my Mindstorms gear from Lego World Shop, just because it wasn't available here in the Netherlands at the time. One of the deliveries came from Switzerland, the other from Denmark. Payment was in US dollars though. Arjen (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Black Thunder? (was LEGO Outlet @ Potomac Mills Mall is now shipping!)

Does anyone know if the LEGO Outlet still has the Black Thunder Model Team set? Even though it is supposedly still part of the product line for 99, the only place that seems to carry it anymore is S@H. By any chance, are they clearing out old stock (...) (...) Whenever I add a new bucket to my "master bin," I tend to measure how full it is. That's how I get my ballpark figure; I assume that my "sorted special pieces" probably number about 3,000. The total is probably close to yours, Aaron--I (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

No need to smuggle anything. Just write down the UPC number (all 12 digits, sometimes they want them all). Find someone on the floor doing pricing with an RMU (electronic wireless price gun). Ask them to look it up for you. Ray (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I've voiced my negative opinions of the Lego MF here before, but lately (until today) I'd been having a change of heart. I'd made a real effort to like the "Falcon." It didn't even really have to be the Falcon - I'm sure the Correlians (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) This probably won't help but they have a Divers set at KBkids.com,though I can't tell if it's the one you want. They cleverly don't provide numbers. It's 23.96, on sale, plus there's coupons at Flamigoworld.com, $10 off I hope I was of some (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

RE: Lego trains and the RCX

If you just want to turn the trains on and off, without speed control from the RCX, you can build a relay out of a motor, and a Lego switch. Run the trains from the train controller through the switch. Hook up a motor to the RCX to move the switch. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Following-up on Ooops!

Hey y'all: I find it shocking that so many people having read my post about not wanting to reveal the names of bad traders, have then asked me to reveal the name of the bad traders I barely alluded to.   Re: favicon.ico

That's right. When you add a web site to MSIE's favourites list, it displays a little icon next to it. Apparently (as you can see from your logs) it tries to get this from the chosen site. Failing this, MSIE then defaults to his own icon (a little (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)
