  Re: servo program

Dear ?: First off, your program contains an infinite loop; statement return(0); will never be reached. Also you told it that main does not return a value, yet you used e return in the end. This will generate a compiler error for sure. I belief the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: 2000 sets should appear this weekend

(...) Hey! Does this mean only at these Lego stores in Florida? Any educated guesses about regular stores for the rest of the States? (TRU, Walmart, Target, and KB) Man I can't wait for these sets! I gotta get a Boba Fett!! Chris (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Silver bricks

(...) Yes, Mike is correct. 1973 was the year that TLG took over USA LEGO production, and Enfield became the LEGO USA Headquarters. Prior to that it was in Colorado (home of Samsonite), and I can't remember the city (not Denver). LEGO first (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Mike Poindexter (Fresno, CA) brought 12 cars, including two alternate-model engines, and many "subway-style" (center-door) passenger cars. Erik McCarthy (Newark, CA) added three more cars to the train. Mike also made an inclined track section, with (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: evaluate inverse cosine, sine in IC

I've been trying to do this as well. The problem I have found is that the Taylor series expansion needs to be developed near the solution to get accurate results. Some may wonder why finding the arcsine of a number might be of interest. If one has a (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Outlet Mall Locations?

Michigan should be on the fast track for a new store. With both Lar and myself living in Michigan, that should be enough reason to get one (smile). And don't forget Scott, Mark, Eric and Steve....... also fellow Michiganians. And besides, there are (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: WooHoo!!

(...) No, It just comes with nine different booklets/sheets for all the submodels. Stupid, if you ask me. One Large Booklet is more space economic, at least in my instruction sorting system. Jeff (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) nice (...) I did this at LEGOLAND-Windsor as well. I had to buy a ticket and as long as I returned to the ticket kiosk within 30 minutes the entire fee was refunded. Mike - mike_walsh@mindspring.com (URL) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lego In Chu?

(...) At the LL Carlsbad Legofest some fellow AFOLs from Japan brought one of these. It wasn't any of the sets that've been mentioned so far; I believe it was the Paradisa motorboat. Jeff (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Hello Craig, I've been looking for the same set. I saw a Lego history site that talks about this set and even had a few pics. I think it was an English site. I can't remember the number of the set that contained the gears and chain links either. I (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)
