  Re: WooHoo!!

(...) That *does* seem reasonable (although it sucks that Target didn't fess to having it in stock) -- no reason for them to match the price if you can't actually go to Target and buy the same set. Still a bummer, though, that they bothered to (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Batteries....

I've finally managed to burn through my first set of batteries in my RCX (thanks to a cheap key-chain laser pointer I converted into a 2x4 brick). Anyway, after I changed the batteries out, I see a black circle with a + on the LCD display, and the (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego In Chu?

(...) Ack! What a surprise to see the old red soldier figure. I hate to say this, but if I found a store stocking this stuff, I'd buy multiple copies of that set (if the quality wasn't tooo heinous) just for that figure. (Then I'd hate myself for (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Can somebody help me find these sets?

(...) 1782 was a Toys R Us exclusive, I believe, although it might have also been available thru Shop At Home. It's cool for having the only white submersible (rather than yellow). 6557 was a Shop At Home exclusive, at least in the US. Call and see (...)   Re: WooHoo!!

(...) My brother tried to have TRU price-match the 4561 (this being the one week out of the year that I'm not near a TRU, of course). He'd just been across the street at Target and they had a 4561 in stock. The TRU cashier said that she had to (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
