A few days back I mentioned building trains using no window bricks after people complained about the lack of availability of 'train' windows. Well here is model that doesn't use any windows. in fact, the most specialized piece is a 1x2 plate with (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Navigation with two Polaroid Sonars?
 
What is a good meathod to implement navigation on a robot with two Polaroid sonars and basic two-motor steering? I got the box yesterday though was still too busy with the T-day stuff to get to it. I went through it this morning, so far all I've found is a couple of foresman figs, a Wolfpack fig and a few plain torsos to nab out of of the box :( Oh.. and my (...) Have a look at my page : (URL) buit a scanner with bidirectionnal control. Client (RCX) software written with NQC, 'server' (master=pc) soft written in borland delphi 3.0. I'm not sure I understand your question perfectly, but I can use clones for two purposes: 1. A cool colour or shape that TLG does not supply. 2. Hacking! Building in micro-switches, making cable tunnels and such things. But I am a Lego purist in (...) (...) Why not invert a plate in LDraw and group them together, use it as a submodel? You don't need to model something like what you described. But to answer the question, I don't know.
