I built a robot to try out dynamic equilibrum, i.e., balancing a weighted stick, only to notice that my construction didn't turn at all because of sensor friction. (...) Hmmm. Two things: (1) I can usually identify a bad battery in the set because it will not charge (the charging light/LED stays on forever), but this is obviously not always true. (2) It would be _really_ easy to rig up an external power pack. I, (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I can't seem to get MLCad to give me bitmaps. When I do that, it produces one (which is from some screwy point in the set of steps) then does a dr watson. Has anyone seen this behaviour? Are there other tools that can handle fairly complex models? (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)
