Here's two ideas I've been kicking around for a while- combine themes into a
town.

My two ideas are:

1.) Build a town on a medievil world where an advanced civilation has landed
and given the inhabitants technology they're not ready for.(combine space and
castle) I'm thinking castles with radar dishes on them, knights riding
mechanical flying horses, etc.

2.) Build a lunar city. Basically a regular city with schools, police, etc.,
but with a wall around it, with airlocks in the walls to get out onto the
lunar plains. There would be an assumed imaginary dome over the city. (Combine
town and space) This one could be very cool- plan out how folks would have to
live- they'd still have normal "town" stuff, but they'd have some other stuff
too, like hydroponics gardens. Also, the low gravity would lend itself to some
interesting architecture and recreational activities. Heinlein wrote a story
where inhabitants of the moon were able to fly around in a big chamber using
wings strapped to their arms because they were so much lighter. Rock raiders
could be incorporated because I'm sure that moon inhabitants would be very
dependent on minerals, both for self-support and also as an export commodity.
What else would they be able to produce that folks on the surface couldn't?

I would have built these save for space to set them up and time. I now have
the space, but not the time- oh well.

2 cents

Chris
