  Re: NELUG Turns 50!!

Eric, I could make that 51, and 1 for ME. Although I'm not yet 18, you said I would be welcome to come to meetings(which I unfortunately am not at liberty to do) so I guess that means I could also be a member, right. And if you do other things like (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.org.us)

Re: - signal ,overhead dual track configuration - signal-2.dat

That's *one* kind of signalling indication set. There are about as many as there were Class 1 railroads, everyone did it differently. Which line were you near (I'm not enough of a trainspotter sort to remember all the lines and variants...)? (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.trains)

  Re: HandyBoard Charging

do you have the recommended 12v, 500 ma DC adapter? if not, that explains it. if so, sometimes when the batt is fully charged, you don't get much in trickle charge mode and the light is off. but usually you should see the light being lit dimly. are (...)   Minifig torso and parts needed

Since I did not get much response to my last listing, I have decided to break the list down into several segments. The first segment is a list of minifig torsos and parts that I need to complete several sets. I have a box of minifigs which measures (...)   Re: LEGO Linux Penguin

GOOD POINT!!! Quick, go add some stuff to your page about how Lego won't sell bulk bricks and how all the slashdot readers should call Lego up and tell them about how cool large creations are BUT Lego makes it hard for the large creation creators...   Re: More Pic's of... Re: 2 person Heavy Assault Walker

That is one, cool model, Eric. Those click-hinges look like they work real well for that type of thing, it makes it very posable as you mentioned. The number of different ways the legs could be positioned would make for numerous positions the walker (...)   Re: LegOS difficulties

First suggestion: don't use 0.1.7, use 990330. Or better yet, 0.2.2, though many people are still having problems with that, and there is no documentation yet (that is the sound of my professors screaming in the background. Sorry.) Using 990330 will (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Line Followers

Hi, Could someone please give me a little bit of advice on building a line follower with the standard lego light sensor? I will be doing the programming for it with LegOS. Can you achieve decent performance with just one light sensor? Thanks!! Dave (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  RE: Custom Palpatine

I had done the same thing except I also switched out the legs so he has a dark gray waist and black legs instead of the black/black that came with the D. Maul fig.   NELUG Turns 50!!

This is a quick message to announce that NELUG now has 50 members. The member breakdown by region is as follows... (Some of my earlier guesses were a little off.   LegOS difficulties

I am hitting a snag during the final stage of installation of LegOS onto my Debian Linux ( m68k ) system. I have successfully installed binutils-2.9.1.0.19a and egcs-1.1.2 . At least I think that they are correctly installed. I ran these (...) (25 years ago, 16-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

More Pic's of... Re: 2 person Heavy Assault Walker

[X-post lugnet.cad for more exposure] (...) The interface looks great! I like the many options and corner views. The 'figs are a nice tough too. Now you just need to add more models!
