This guy has done it: (URL) remote-controlled an RCX over the internet using the LabVIEW 5.0 Web Server combined with ROBOLAB commands along with the free Basic Real Server from real.com for the video... all running on an NT server. But I am just (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.tele)

  Re: BEWARE of John DiRienzo

Thanks for sharing your experience with John DiRienzo. I just feel I am the only victim among his hundreds of business deals. Why me ? Some of you mentioned there has to be something "outside the picture". The one who is to tell about that is John (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Pieces that have returned!

Here is a brief list of parts that we haven't seen in a while, at least since 1997.   Re: A note about the new SW

(...) Well, I saw the sets for 1999 coming out in early November and December. This happened at both Meijer and Toys R Us to a lessor extent. I think most retailers get these sets early, and most, due to the Christmas craziness in the toy aisles, (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Next Generation Forum

Some of you may be interested in taking a look at Next Generation Forum, which is a networking project looking at creativity in learning. LEGO is sponsor for the work which however is not directed towards LEGO products as such although I am sure (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.edu)

  Re: Spare parts in 2000?

(...) However, some sets come with a small LEGO Direct catalog which is part of a S@H catalog. Certainly within the past few years, those have sometimes had some of the parts packs, though they have been dropping off. (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What the...?

(...) At least the pterodactyls aren't as big as the nearly-unmoveable Tyrannasaurs and Triceratops. What a waste of both plastic and a really cool idea. LEGO == build out of pieces. Someone's not getting this. Steve (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Thanks to Todd Lehman, Kevin Loch, and Lego!!!

(...) Thanks, but I don't the credit. I have only scanned a couple dozen sets/cataogs for the site. The vast majority of work was done by other AFOL's. Without them the site would be pretty empty. KL (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Catalogo 2000

Re: Adventurers and dinosaurs in 2000

Yes I too was thrilled by the Dino theme news, but I found the small treaded vehicle in the Shop-at-home flyer even more thrilling.   New Click Hinges??

Does anyone else see a new style of click hinge in the 'City Center' Sets. It appears in 6600 on the digger bucket that is laying on the ground. There appears to be a 1x6x1 and 1x4x1 double sided click hinge(and a 1x2x1). My guess is that it (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
