Some of you may be interested in taking a look at Next Generation Forum, which
is a networking project looking at creativity in learning.
LEGO is sponsor for the work which however is not directed towards LEGO
products as such although I am sure (and LEGO too?) that Mindstorms and other
LEGO products will feature in several of the discussions and papers along the
way.
The home page is:
http://www.nextgenerationforum.org/
where you can get the last annual report - just out today.
These snips are from the site:
"Founded and sponsored by the LEGO Company and administered by the House of
Mandag Morgen one of Denmarks leading think tanks, the Next Generation Forum
is a fully independent network of experts, knowledge and best practices within
the field of creativity and learning."
(...)
"The Next Generation Forum is built on a vision of a future in which children
will play a more central role in a society based on creativity and
playfulness. The Annual Report elaborates this vision and looks at key themes,
such as children's environments, learning tools, partnerships for change and
specific recommendations to enable the Creative Society."
Play well!
