  Re: Ice Cream

(...) My big reason for not using MLCAD is that I am very fast in LEdit, but I can only go at half or quarter speed in MLCAD. That and it is not "intuitive" to me. I do try out each update tho. Jeff "There's no pleasing some people." (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: MLCad wishlist (was Re: Ice Cream

(...) Yah, but I typically get more involved with the rotations than that. I tend to use angles with wildly different "step" values; e.g. rot along x by 45 deg. , then rot along z by 36.8 deg. Also I like to be able to move the center of rotation to (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.cad)

Star Wars is both sci-fi and fantasy (was: Re: Science fiction)

(...) Arghh, pet peeve alert! Star Wars is BOTH fantasy AND sci-fi. Depending on how you look at it, perhaps it's more fantasy than sci-fi -- and a "fantasy film" is indeed what Lucas himself called Star Wars -- but to imply that it's not sci-fi is (...) (...) know. Hi Mark I've yet to give out an eight stud rating (but I still have LOTS of reviews to reprint). I believe I did give a seven stud rating to the 7150-TIE Fighter/Y-Wing set and I'll probably be giving seven studs to the 5988 Forbidden (...) I'd only like to add the "Road" movies with Bob Hope & Bing Crosby & Dorothy Lamour, if only because they're favorites of mine, and fit not only the Adventurers theme (both jungle and Egypt, and even the upcoming (...) (...) OK, we'll have to chalk that one up to difference of opinion:) I get to like the Phantom, you get to like RTS. Thanks for reminding me of Jewel of the Nile. I think it would be in the #4 spot on the all dung heap list. Mark L (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)
