  Re: Feedback solicitation

This is a problem for me too. What I do is say: "I’m happy when you are happy. I’ll post feedback as soon as you do the same for me." I thought this would upset my buyers/sellers, but the oposite has been true. I've had a few e-mails saying that (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Track Planning

Thanks James. After reading Matt's geometry page I found one solution. It's not as pretty as I'd like, but it does the job without any cheating. As it is a return loop, it is useful for a point to point layout. It can also hold a train in the loop (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Track Planning

(...) Yes. I don't know how large exactly (or how small...). I used to have a setup like this in my bedroom. Remember what it says on Matts page, that the lego track doesn't have to exactly line up for it to work. The larger the loop, the bigger the (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Purple Hubcap tires

(...) I've seen them too, and I believe they are from one of the "add-on" sets for the Robotic Inventions System set (9719). Can it be 9730 "RoboSports", perhaps? No, wait, they're from the "Extreme Creatures set" (9732). Here's a scan of the (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.technic)

  Wot no RCX power connector?

When did this vanish then? All the online information I can find says that the RCX has a 6-12V AC power connector. My one that I bought this weekend doesn't :( (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

How to sell twice as many Slave 1s Re: SCAN OF SLAVE 1

(...) We understand, FYI, The word you're looking for is studs. I had a look myself and slave1 seems undersized by a factor of two (well, since it's a 3dimensional object it's about an 8th of its 'real' volume). Doubling all the dimesions (making it (...)   Purple Hubcap tires

Hey y'all: What set contained two large rubber tires with purple wheels? I am almost positive they are technic... O, these tires are approximately 6x6 around, and about 2 1/2 wide.   WTB 4x4 quarter discs

I have a project in mind for the 4x4 yellow quarter discs (as found in the new McDonald's set), but it would require 100+ of them. If you have a few sets and would like to sell me a couple or so of your discs, LMK. Thanks, -John (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

RE: SCAN OF SLAVE 1 on my website now!
