Re: Any info on 9700 (aka TC-0) ?

According to Matt Chiles set list: 9700 1992 Dacta Technic Control 0 set Based on the date, I'd say it's probably 4.5v. I think it took Dacta a few years after the release of 9v Technic (1990) to move there line to 9v. This set was probably a (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: To sell or to auction, that is the question.

The way of the world typicaly is first come first sever. it has its problems but in most instances it works. Auctions are more complicated and typicaly less fair to all then strait sales.   Re: Town Jr on LEGO site ?!?

If I recall, the term appeared in when Town Jr. first showed up in 1996(?), in some European literature from TLG. Ben Gatrelle <ben.gatrelle@nospam...gfoot.com> wrote in message news:FJ5xno.LG0@lugnet.com... (...) early (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Hidden surface removal, and vertex order in part/primitive DAT files

(...) My code worked too but my point was to say that the part is not correct, there could be some cases where it won't work and besides that, it won't look good if you render it with a program that has backface culling. How are you going to save (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Somebody with a feedback of -2 is high bidder on my auction!

(...) email and the -2 was one of the most concentious buyers I've dealt with. Maybe he was just trying to get his feedback up. Check the comments. Have you emailed him to see if he's even there? Chris (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Insurance

(...) Ditto. We had some hail damage to our aluminum siding last year, and the adjuster not only didn't argue about the claimed damage, he went around the house looking for more problems. We were extremely happy with their service. I'm wondering if (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

feedback (was Re: eBay rip-off artist hides feedback)

(...) Yeah. I'm straight-on reliable (a no lying, cheating, stealing kind of guy) but I'm not always as fast as someone more professional than I would be, and I still have an acceptable feedback rating. I figure anyone with a bad rating must be (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: LEGO for Life Sweepstakes

(...) I interpreted it the same way you did. You're absolutely right, it was poorly worded. The "do not contact me" option directly contradicts the "By completing this form, you agree to receive future messages from LEGO" statement. Steve (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Got my own "How Dare You" message from eBay ripoff artist

(...) I think what he meant was "you obviously understand exactly what we're doing, maybe if I insult you, you'll go away?   Re: DUPLO at McDonalds too...and a rebate coupon

(...) Hmm. I got a picture of toy #1, the Ronald McDonald red-and-yellow helicopter. Not much of a preview for us all, eh? I've seen the "hey kids! this is advertising" notice before. I think it was on McDonald's website. I think it's great that (...) (25 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
