Graphite wouldn't necessarily harm the construction, but isn't it a bit messy? I would think a silicone-based lubricant would work great and not be harmful. (My Dad used to use something very expensive and silicone-based for various (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Why are there so many Lego Sale on Ebay right now? I've just done a search (titles & descriptions), and there were 1818 lots up for auction. This appears to be way over the normal.
