  Re: Position Finding/Mapping

Does anyone have any ideas on which platform is best? I have to buy parts for any of the ones listed on the Internals page(I didn't think about that). Can anyone say which ones are best? Also does anyone know of any other syncro drives on the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Animated Space Station

Phew! Thanks a lot Eric! I was beginning to worry if it worked. Its only 7 pics so its jerky. Top was not fixed to base exactly so it wobbles a bit. This was a first attempt. Need to redo with more frames with each as small as possible. Thanks again (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Animated Space Station

(...) It works on my machine (Netscape Communicator 4.06 on SunOS), but the animation is kind of jerky- it seems to take a bit longer to download the new frame than is smooth, and I'm sitting behind several T3s. Also, the station seems to be (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

Michael, check out the book "The World of Lego Toys" for a start. Possibly available at your library - it is at mine (not very large town). Kevin (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

I really, really need someone to see if this works on their machine, PLEASE! Just click the picture, set it to fit 320X200, wait for it to download, and watch it spin around. All comments welcome. Thanks, Rick (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

This set may have been inventoried before, but I couldn't find it, so I made my own. Notes: (1) 'gray' is the American spelling, 'grey' is the British spelling. (2) dk = dark (3) tr = transparent/translucent (4) The flexible tubes were probably (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

  IC motion control

I am having problems with programming the handyboard using Interactive C 3.2. When I used the function fd(n) to test for continuous motor rotation, the board would crashed or it would only spin for a fraction of a second. Also, even when I put it in (...) (...) Ah, maybe it's just an American phenom, then. Lemme check... I think Thanksgiving is always the last Thursday in November, which would make it the 25th this year, making the HUGE (and I mean HUGE) shopping day the 26th. On the 26th _every_ (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: POV --> JPG,GIF

(...) Hrmmm... doesn't POV save it as a TGA file? Just find something that will convert those files to JPG. Paint Shop Pro comes to mind: (URL) looks like I need to upgrade - they're up to version 6. (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
