Re: LEGO Town Quiz

(...) Just as a comment towards this: Not allways true. I have 2 plates that are green, 7 stud wide, and are new. I did not repaint them either... Some sort of oddity I guess... James Powell (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

After sorting through the box, I was able to assembly some complete minfigs (most of the heads are not original and only 1 of the helmets has its visor): 5 Wild West black bandits (4 missing scarfs), 3 Willas (1 missing a hat, no capes), 4 red Ninja (...) (...) <clip> (...) <CLIP> I agree 100% with Wayne's point here. Lets just build and view each others' models. If Person X makes a station that doesn't dock with Person Y's ship, then it is either up to Person X, Person Y, or a third Person Z to (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

Tabs in web interface (was: Re: Space Station/Base Names (was Re: Space stations?))

(...) Nope, it doesn't! Tabs are actually preserved. If you do a "view source" on this... (URL) see that tabs are actually output correctly as "	" HTML entity sequences. It's actually your browser which is converting the tabs to spaces, but it's (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: It's Time AFOL Take Action!

(...) This would fit really easily within a simple (non-monolithic text file) database. Are there any plans to do so? Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: It's Time AFOL Take Action!

Most of the demographic info that Ian suggests we collect is part of the roll call form. I'd suggest people post or update their forms rather than reposting this info... Here's a searchable entry point: (URL) Larry Pieniazek larryp@novera.com (URL) (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: The LD environment (or, Datsville in Space)

I'm not sure what all the hubub is about regards what is or isn't "allowed" into someone's design. What is our "Current Space Technology" anyway? We (humans of Earth) can build (with a whole lot of agument between nations and corporations) a space (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

(...) That's true -- in terms of effort on the part of the doners, it's the best way to go! Much easier than donating, say, a kidney. :-, (...) Eh? I saw no spam coming from you, sir. Re: apartments

(...) This is a cool building. I did see some problems, though. First, the couch floats a plate off the floor. Two plates (1x1, 1x2) in the stair sections are not seated under the rest of the pieces. Re: Hunger website

(...) As far as donations go, I'd certainly agree. But they didn't require anything from me... I tried it before posting it (one would hope I would!) and it was simply a single click-- no cookies were dropped, no forms to fill out, no information to (...) Re: Hidden surface removal, and vertex order in part/primitive DAT files

Hello, Ok guys, I already announced that I coded such a tool in Java. At present, only one Ldrawer has asked for the code. In fact, it's an alpha release. Thus, I should find beta testers first. (...) You've been spammed, but I don't think directly from the Hunger Site. It's not cost-efficient to spam guest books.
