  Tom's Wanted page

Time for my posting of my Wants, I haven't had too many contacts lately about parts off of the page... (URL) I still need tons of 1x/2x/4x/8x long bricks, and I could use 1x10 black plates and 1x6/1x8 black tiles. I've got to get cracking on the (...)   Re: lost childhood pieces

Most probably its purpose is adding elasticity to the brick, so crack initiation and loosing the connection ability of the brick as a result, could be delayed. They also went the same way in some other pieces. Look at (URL) can easily see the same (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Next SW-Sets and AAT

:That is an excellent job. I like the way it turned out, you look at it and you know what it is supposed to be! And the scale seems to be bang on in my books. Other models I've seen seem to be out of shape visually, but here too you get top marks (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: S@H Prices

Not to mention no sales tax. Not such a small amount for me in Kalifornia, I pay 8.25% locally, so S@H is almost dead even with local stores, since they rarely have sales. That, and I can't get the McD's set at Walmart ;-) I've ordered over 20 (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  LEGO 'expo' in MYER Melbourne

Re: Item suggestions for the 200x LEGO System Collection.

IMO, juniorisiation is more likely to have been prompted by the US market - children who have very short attention spans due to too much TV and too many video games.   Re: Grocery story

The part about people being stuck in the middle of things is a common result of viewing an .mpd file in LDraw, or even LDLite sometimes. Are you really using LDraw to view models? As (...)   Chrome in new LCAD programs

Gary: It'd be great if your program rendered color 383 (and 503) more like official LEGO instructions rather than like LDraw/LDlite. I don't know how difficult that would be too implement, though. --Bram PS: try not to be overwhelmed by all these (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
