  want a LEGO Phone?

Do any of you want a Lego phone? I've herd about them and always wanted one, but could never find one. One day I had a sudden idea.. what is Lego for? To build with. So I built a Lego phone, and it works just fine. So if you want a Lego phone, make (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

I have a 14 inch and 15 inch monitor and I see no reason why you can't design a page to at least 1024 by 768. I have no problem seeing pages on either monitor. I can even put the 14incher into 1600x1200 with no problems.. of course it is a .25dpi (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Shell Sets - Convince S@H to carry?

(...) IMO, very good sign. For example, LEGO set 6329, Truck Stop, was listed as "not available in the US" for a year, and then it was. On the other hand, other sets that have not shown up on the computer have never became available period. Anyone (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

My take on "Remote Control Switch Design"

Hello All, I've posted a web page devoted to my motorized switch/point design. I've laden it heavily with photos and closeups, but I'm not holding anybody's hand at this point - mostly theory instead of how-to. Hopefully, you'll get some insights (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

The Doctor What wrote in message <19990916141600.K292...rf.org>... (...) I'm pretty sure 6444 was never available in Australia. Oh, the irony. Can you believe that?!? I don't know whether to laugh or cry after hearing how good that set is. The (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?

I have one and it is cool. However, you might want to always consider those folks with slower connections and smaller monitors. Designing a website for anything other than 640 x 480 resolution can be downright frustrating for some users. Build On! (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Yet another Datsville update

(...) Looks good! A couple comments about the landscaping: 1) If you increase r_l (or whatever I called the length of the river) the turns won't be quite so sharp. 2) I know it adds to rendering time, but turning the fog on for the non-overhead (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
