Re: LEGO killed the train club

(...) I think the one distinct advantage that NMRA 2005 had was that it was centrally located for just about every club on the east coast, and a good chunk of the midwest. I know 2013 will in Atlanta during July 14-20, and I will most likely be (...) (13 years ago, 18-Oct-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Creator sets with articulation joints

Dear Lego I'm a HUGE fan of the creator sets (I can seriously see myself content with just one or two of these if I was stuck on a desert island). The sets with articulation joints in particular are my favorites but I noticed that with last year's (...) (13 years ago, 17-Oct-11, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Walmart has City Advent Calendar

(...) Yes, its annoying. You have to have Javascript turned on to see all of any given page of stuff - clicking on the "View All" or even the "NextXXX" links doesn't do anything except reload the current page if you have Javascript turned off. I (...) (13 years ago, 14-Oct-11, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Walmart has City Advent Calendar

  WHaCKoLuG October Dinner

Its the third Sunday... so you all know what that means... Insanely huge sized deserts at our favourite diner (Angels) with our favourite waitress (Jasmine).   Re: Lets plan TECKBALL during this months dinner

Awwwwww So cool! OK, we can again be partners. You distract the French guys, and I will try to learn which way to steer. That was a lot of fun, and I hope more people try out for it next Brickfete. Chris (...) (13 years ago, 14-Oct-11, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Porting MRC/Digitrax to LEGO trains

(...) We have some of that here in Edmonton, Canada. I think 3 of our members have DCC rigs, and more have DCC-modified trains. The mainlines on our train layouts have been DCC for several years - we use the old 9V analog stuff for independent (...) (13 years ago, 12-Oct-11, to lugnet.trains)

  LEGO model: Samford Hall

This probably won't mean nearly as much to anyone not familiar with this landmark structure in my hometown of Auburn, Alabama. But you might like the model nonetheless.   Porting MRC/Digitrax to LEGO trains

I know that some people used to run DCC on some modified train motors, but has this since gone the way of the dinosaur now that we have plastic track? One day in the future, I want to make my home train layout complete with a handheld multifunction (...) (13 years ago, 12-Oct-11, to lugnet.trains)
