  Re: New Minifig Site

(...) All I can say is WOW!!! I just love your site. You have some of the best/clearest pictures I have ever seen of LEGO models especially pictures taken so close up. I have not been this impressed in quite a while. It makes my pictures look awful (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MacDonalds????

(...) When I called back, they checked into my order, and will be shipping me one. I didn't try too hard to get them to ship me two (if I had had the catalog, I would have split the order in two...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: OK and another Boxcar

(...) Must have misunderstood me. Those ladders are even farther from the mark, IMHO. Try going back to the plate with side rod, but put a brick between each two "rung" plates instead of just a plate. Or at least 2 plates between each two rungs... (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Minifig-Scale AT-AT update

(...) Maybe it'll be done by the next meeting! :) (...) I *completely* redid the speeder bikes from scratch. I worked in the landing feet so they look cooler -- they're independed rods which terminate in a semi-pedal. The sad part is it's three (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Never mind, I got it (thanks to a post on lugnet.publish--thanks for leading me here!). I was missing a "#" in the USEMAP command. Check the new page out! -John Van John VanZwieten <john_vanzwieten@email.msn.com> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Craig's minifigs

(...) Just a suggestion: packing tape adhesive goes icky after a while, and a more long-lasting fray-preventer and stabiliser would be the iron-on backings used in dressmaking (called "interfacing") or specifically for applique (might be called (...)   Re: New Minifig Site

(...) I'd say you hit the ground running in a very good way! :) WAYYYY COOOOL! This is one of the most original LEGO fansites I've ever seen. (...) OK, here is some feedback: It's sending one cookie per page, which is, yeah, a bit annoying, but no (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Datsville Raceway

(...) Ryan, It just so happens that I have re-created several cars, and used the instructions to 6335 [the reknowned Indy Transport, not the gawdawful one used in the Town (Jr.) collection] in order to make facsimiles of the Autobot Mirage (got a (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: And a new hopper car

(...) The most definitive thing I see as characterizing a gondola v.s. a hopper is that hoppers are tall and gondolas are short. Gondolas with bottom doors/chutes are usually refered to as drop bottom gondolas. (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: wanted: 1x1x2 and 1x2x2 blue windows

Hey Christopher, If you mean Classic Lego windows in blue, then I don't think the 1x1x2 exists in blue. (Unless they made another train set with them, cuz they made a 1x3x2 blue window in one of the train sets.) As far as I know, the 1x1x2 window (...) does ldraw have the car wash brush holder piece(s)? I can find the brush holder street sweeper and the brush car wash but no holder piece for it. I need it for my service station (it will have a car wash) so if anyone can point me towards it, mock (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
