I have started work on a race track for Datsville. It would be located
a little ways out of town. If people would like to help on different
aspects
of the raceway, it would be a great help. I was thinking that we could
have maybe stockcars(I believe it was Thomas Burger who had made
some stock cars. If so could we use them?)
I am working on the track itself(along with walls) and am using the
unpatterned road plates. It will be 4x6(so 128x192). It may have to be
enlarged for the grandstands.
So if you are willing to help on some aspect I would appreciate it
very much, as I think this will be a big project.
Thank you. If you have any questions, just ask.

Ryan,
It just so happens that I have re-created several cars, and used the
instructions to 6335 [the reknowned Indy Transport, not the gawdawful one used
in the Town (Jr.) collection] in order to make facsimiles of the Autobot Mirage
(got a 2x3 33-deg. slope w/"26" on it?) and Mika Hakkinen's McLaren MP4-12 (it
should carry a red "8" whenever possible. I also plan to take Thomas Burger's
Lamborghini design and give it an exposed rear engine (a la Sunstreaker).
Otherwise, my stock car designs are rather underdeveloped. I can complete a car
in no time if they're absolutely necessary. (I have plans to take one of the
Adventurers roadsters and rebuild it as a 160-mph dune buggy. If you have the
instructions to the Mummy's Tomb (set #5958), either erect the car on LDraw or
at least include all of the pieces used into one *.DAT file and I can work from
there.
I recently submitted designs for street lights and traffic lights. With any
luck, they should show up soon.
Good luck to your track.
