  BBB Medium drivers

I recently made some crude but perfectly useable versions of the BBB medium drivers: both flanged and blind. They're a fair bit smaller than Ben's originals and make extensive use of primitives. <https://sites.googl...elgambort/ (URL) Since BS (...)   My Own Modified Set (MOMS): the Crawler Crane XL

(URL) More pictures can be found by clicking on the above photo. I have just modified set 7632 into a larger crane.   Re: Whats wrong with Brickshelf?

(...) By now I think the intermittent outages and neglect have quite clearly established that Brickshelf is not a robust and reliable service (ie, it is dying if not already essentially dead). Unfortunate, but that's my view. Jim (15 years ago, 23-Nov-09, to lugnet.general)

  Whats wrong with Brickshelf?

Hi all, Some of our club members noticed that it's no longer possible to upload to Brickshelf. Anyone any idea whats happening? Thanks Ludo (15 years ago, 22-Nov-09, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Reducing voltage

(...) Hello, you can put AC or DC voltage at the input of the regulator with no problem as long as you don't put more than 9VAC~14VDC. The internal circuit will take both. So a quick fix that put 4.5~5V DC at the input will ouput about 3~3.2VDC at (...) (15 years ago, 23-Nov-09, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Reducing voltage

(...) I think this is how you want to do it. A simple solution would be to go to Radio Shack, and buy a couple large ceramic resistors. (not sure the values you'd want, but something low). Then, take a normal 9v wire, cut it, and insert the (...) (15 years ago, 23-Nov-09, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Reducing voltage

(...) Years ago PNLTC used to do this for the kids table at the show. From what I recall, we just drove a screw though the controller at about the 4th notch in the black area on each side to keep it from turning too far. It is a very long lasting, (...)   Reducing voltage

Our club lets kids run the controller for one of the lines when we do certain events (like, right now, with Detroit Festival of Trees), but we could use a way to forcibly limit the speed on the line that they're allowed to run. One way that's really (...) (15 years ago, 23-Nov-09, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 606p01b.dat (Was: LGPL Datsville)

Re: LEGO® Launches Battle Over Trademark

Re: LEGO® Launches Battle Over Trademark

(...) Happens now and again. As I recall, toy vehicles that transformed into robots were marketed in the USA with almost no success, but Hasbro took the idea, attached a story line to it, and an animated show, and it took off like wildfire.
