Re: The LEGO Didn't Break (or the HALE Mission - LEGO where it was never intended to go)

Give you joy for your very successful mission. And a glass of wine with you. Incredible. Will be expecting with much anticipation your final report to the Admiralty and the subsequent publishing of results in the LEGO Gazette. I hate it when I (...) (16 years ago, 30-Jul-08, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Legoträff i höst (2008)

Bra initiantiv Anders!! (16 years ago, 30-Jul-08, to lugnet.loc.se)

New Rio Grande Grain Hopper & Santa Fe Freight Car MOCs

Hello, I just recently completed my new Rio Grande grain hopper and Santa Fe freight car MOCs. The grain hopper was easily my most challenging MOC, but after much head scraping and rebuilding, it finally came out as good as I could have hoped for. (...)   The LEGO Didn't Break (or the HALE Mission - LEGO where it was never intended to go)

OK, I'm a little bit proud of this... and, mostly, amazed that it functioned at all. I was selected to participate in the HALE (High Altitude LEGO Extravaganza) after submitted two proposals in the hopes one would make it... and instead, both were (...)   Re: Clone Wars V-19 and Gunship are spiffy!

(...) It looks like the "hydraulic" piston from set 8448 (except without the spring): [LDrawPart 32181c02:0] It's cool that they've made more. :) Steve (16 years ago, 29-Jul-08, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: How to set up the LSynth Beta for NXT cables.

(...) This is my bad. The source has been sitting on sourceforge for a very long time. I need to release it. Willy has helped a lot, testing and giving great feedback. Thanks Willy! Jim Devona has already made the new LSynth available on the Mac, so (...) (16 years ago, 29-Jul-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Clone Wars V-19 and Gunship are spiffy!

Clone Wars V-19 and Gunship are spiffy!

I tried to build a V-19 and did not arrive at a suitable result. I am heartened to see that the Lego designers must have had similar problems because their set has about six times as many parts as I could bring to bear on the problem. In addition (...)   Re: Dalylight Train, Southern Pacific Coast

Re: Dalylight train, Southern Pacific Coast

(...) Thanks Benn, I had spotted the Daylight while researching long passenger train consists a few years ago, when working on my Caifornia Zephyr train.   Re: Dalylight train, Southern Pacific Coast

(...) Thanks Dave, Yes, all of the articulation in my train is a riff of whats's shown at the ILTCO presentaion, although I originally found the ideas here on LUGNET first. The shared car articulation is based on work by Steve Barile (URL). The (...) (16 years ago, 29-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Dalylight train, Southern Pacific Coast

(...) Thanks Cale. I agree the GP9 is wrong, but the only "correct" Deisels would be E7A, E8A, E9A or PA2, and E7Bs mix and matched in pairs. But the only PA I own is in Rio Grand colors, and I own no E units. My GP9 is modeled after SP5623, which (...) (16 years ago, 29-Jul-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Legoträff i höst (2008)
