Re: LEGO Star Wars Anniversary Set - Help Decide

(...) LEGO could include the minifig(s) possible with the sculpture. If they were to limit the options, would not R2D2 and C3PO be the definitive Star Wars figs? The Original trilogy was told from their perspective. Lego could release them as a (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: Poll for new Town Sets

I was hoping that the Ambassadors would make a new post to town, train, and announce, especially since they just announced a poll for Star Wars sets for 2009. While we wait for their post, I might want to add that the suggested sets should be aimed (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.ambassadors, lugnet.lego, FTX)

Reminder about Saturday's SMART meeting at Digipen. We'll meet at 2 in our regular room. There will be some time to build, test and program your race cars for this year's Grand Challenge.   Re: Long Span Suspension Bridge?

I'm really excited to get a closer look at some of these bridges at various shows this summer. :-) I might even have to get out to somewhere where SCLTC is displaying (...) (...) Mike- The 192 stud (10 ft) cable-stayed bridged that I posted a picture of earlier in this thread has a middle open span of 96 studs (5 ft).   BrickfestAnywhere 2008?

Is there going to be a BrickFest anywhere in 2008? Like many people, I'm trying to figure out where my LEGO travel dollars will go this year, and I haven't heard anything from BrickFest (but have heard about many others). Steve (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting

(...) That's because the history of this DAT goes like this: 1. I wrote the part, it was officially released as 553.dat in 2000. 2. The real part number was discovered, and the part was moved from 553 to 30367. 3. There hasn't been another parts (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting

(...) This is most likely caused by the export not using high enough precision in it's calculations. I'm guessing you can probably replace all these with zero. ROSCO (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

After 45 years... the LEGO Gnome reappears on LEGO Boxes!

This is a reprint of a Bricklink thread... Starting around 1954, TLG had a mascot for LEGO boxes and catalogs, that we refer to today as the LEGO GNOME. This little character was used on all LEGO box tops and in catalogs until 1960. The last known (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.general) !

Re: Poll for new Town Sets

(...) Yes, and I have some suggestions. If you actually built a LEGO town using only the sets released in the last few years, you would have to wonder why the town is in so much constant danger that it requires so many police stations, fire houses, (...)   Who sells Custom Made LEGO Stickers?

I lost my PCs favorite pages... so I cannot find the link to that fellow who sells reproductions of old LEGO stickers on his website. Can anyone help? I tried Googling for it, but came up empty. Thanks, Gary Istok (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.general)

I think a Star Wars version of (URL) 3723 LEGO Mini-Figure> (retail price $150) would be perfect. A few years ago (URL) LEGO auctioned a similar statue of Jango Fett>.   Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting  [DAT]

(...) Right, done that and got rid of the errors, thanks for pin-pointing the location. Strangely all the 'missing' primitives were already in the .mpd file.
