(...) Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Renderer: GeForce4 420 Go/AGP/SSE2 Version: 1.4.0 (...) It was 3.1 beta 1, but feel free to ignore all this. I went back to 3.1b1 to test and then reinstalled 3.2 and its fine now. I'm not sure what happened (...) (17 years ago, 24-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

Re: SW droids - are they minifigs or just a bunch of parts?

(...) Which one sells for the highest profit? ;) (...) How are the complete droids any different from minifigs? How are the separate parts any different from minifig body parts? Both seem to have a market. I don't understand why there's any conflict (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Re: Newbie Q's about development environments

(...) NXC provides all the features available to you in NXT-G, including all the items you mention, plus many that you cannot access in that programming language. It is freely available and it targets the standard NXT firmware. John Hansen (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: MOTM Contest Questions and a Proposal

(...) As the person who wrote the current rules here's my reasoning behind this. The issue is not the fear of models being sold or something like that, it is simply not forcing someone to do something they don't want to do. The MOTM contest doesn't (...)   Re: Some new MOC Trains from NMRA NTS 07

Here is pic of a real one (see below, the image is a link too), the one wide panel I think works well. Also I was trying to give this car a longer look even thought it is already at 40 studs (my personal limit). It is about the same size as a double (...)   RE: Newbie Q's about development environments

If you go to Steve Hassenplug's site ((URL) you'll find a comparison of the various text based programming environments including NXC, ROBOTC, LUA, and JAVA. These solutions are all virtual machine based. ROBOTC has the fastest execution speed of (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - Call for Public Comments

(...) I replied on another message but they are taking almost an entire day to show up. My reason is simply consistency: spaces are used to separate fields, but when it comes to file names, spaces are part of the field. If we used commas to separate (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

Hey there everyone, Just in case you don't get to swing on by Berlin this weekend, here are some pictures of a 48x48 Town Hall module that I made for the 1000steine event. (URL) brief I received was to make a centerpiece display of a modular (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.town) !!

  RIS 1.0 + 1.5 updgrade + Vision + other stuff

Is there any interest in a RIS 1.0 (has AC adapter jack) + the RIS 1.5 upgrade pack? I've also got the Vision set and a few other RIS related sets. I'll need to dig it all out of my basement to see exactly what I have. I bought all of this stuff new (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Newbie Q's about development environments

Hi all, I recently got an NXT and have been having a blast. The iconic programming environment is driving me up a tree, however. So I'm looking for something else, but I'd like to avoid evaluating them all -- thus I turn to you for advice. I'm also (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: LDraw File Format Spec 1.0 DRAFT - Call for Public Comments

(...) My issue with spaces is not with programs supporting them or not, it's that the elements inside a line are delimited by spaces, you have 1 <space> color <space> x <space> ... <part> but then when it comes to file names that rule is broken. I (...) (17 years ago, 22-Aug-07, to lugnet.cad)

What's going on with all the back-ordered sets???

Hey all. Stacy and I were just wondering if anyone has heard anything about why so many sets are on back-order at U.S. S@H. The MTT has been on mega-long back-order, so I've been waiting to order it and a bunch of other sets I've been looking at are (...) Very nice! You combine two of my least faviourite building styles (town and microscale) into a beautiful creation. I love the perspective and scale as well as the realistic layout. Keep up the good work! God Bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
