Just a follow-up to add my latest incarnation of the yard slug, this time in Canadian National colors. You see them working in tandem a lot with EMD GP road-switchers in CN'S larger sorting yards. (...) Thanks Lars, Rosco and Tim. At last, I found what was wrong. I ran msconfig and discovered a junk character presented as a "wide pipe" (or black rectangle) at the end of LDRAWDIR line. It is also visible in original MS Notepad, but not in (...) (19 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) If your C:\Windows\ldraw.ini contains: [LDraw] BaseDirectory=f:\LDraw it should not be necessary to set the LDRAWDIR environment variable also. Though (URL) might give the opposite impression L3P first uses LDRAWDIR if set, otherwise it looks (...) (19 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I purchased the corner cafe directions and tried to build it with parts I had. Aside from colors, the problems that I encountered were mainly with windows. The first floor windows are 6 bricks tall unlike the 5 tall windows I have. Similarly the (...) (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.town) !!

(...) In Windows XP, they should be set by Control Panel / System / Advanced / Environment variables. I put mine in the system variable section. Earlier versions of Windows may be different, although I seem to remember it was always similar. ROSCO (19 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)
