In Windows XP, they should be set by Control Panel / System / Advanced /
Environment variables.
I put mine in the system variable section.
Earlier versions of Windows may be different, although I seem to remember it was
always similar.

| (...) Yes, it did the trick! I just pasted "SET LDRAWDIR=F:\LDraw" into the batch file and L3P went nicely back to work. Now I have to figure out how to remind Windows please to use its enviroment variables... Thanks again! /Tore (18 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)
