GBC MOC: Track Wheel Reservoir (was Re: Tunnel Mouth / Bridge Arch)

(...) I've not made very much GBC before but this was such a nice idea that I thought I'd have a go Brian: (URL) I used 36 tracks with pins on alternate ones to give a maximum 4 balls/second output. This can be reduced easily to the standard 1 (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: peeron inventory update

(...) You have extremely good eyes! I have never noticed that. But I suspect that these variations got into the sets mixed randomly :-( This happened also with 4181/4182 doors (there are two variations of the handle - facing "to the glass" or "to (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Technic Manas Truck

(...) You've used them nicely there! I agree with the on button issue - so far I've managed to leave them exposed... I thought of using the spare motor point for drop legs, but due to the fact that the manas motors are a little timing innacurate (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: pbLua Fun at OSX

(...) Finally, I did something right - by accident! Christian, could I ask you to please send me (off list if you like) some screen shots of what happens when you connect the NXT? I can't remember if I sent you Mac instructions, but you just look (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Sneekpreview on animation software

(...) Screen space is a bit of a problem indeed, it runs out very fast :) That's why I support dual (or even more in theory) screens. But every screen can also have multiple desktops, and for each desktop you can choose from 'windowed' or 'tabbed' (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Technic Manas Truck

(...) Hi Ian, Nice MOC! I agree with you: integrating a Manas is not a simple matter. Here is an idea for you: use the spare function in the trailer's Manas to raise / lower a pair of landing legs (See picture of the real thing here: (URL) that (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

  peeron inventory update

Yesterdays sets checked: 4549: correct except fot 973p19. There are two types with the train logo on opposite sides. I do not believe that both are on Peeron's part list. The instructions show both on the same side, but the two different ones were (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Sneekpreview on animation software

(...) What about those of us that only have one screen? Can you show an example of how it would look there? It seems to me the UI with the large sliders is a bit space consuming. Maybe just a numerical display of the current value (the top part of (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  pbLua Fun at OSX

Hello World, pbLua-Beta2 is out and 90% of my wishes are true now :D Running pbLua with OSX worked out of the box... 1. Flashing NXT and reboot the box once 2. checking for new NXT-Device (ls -la /dev/tty.usb*) 3. connecting with screen to NXT (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: What's new in LDD 2.0?

(...) So far I think that may be the only thing. I only see 8-10 % CPU. So much for wishing they would have improved LDD with all the recommendations they got. Back to Ldraw again for me. (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: What's new in LDD 2.0?

(...) It is significantly faster and less of a hog. Apparently some people are running into graphic card problems but it's a huge, huge, huge improvement of 1.6. Featurewise 2.0 has a lot of cute things like right-click view rotation and other (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

  What's new in LDD 2.0?

Anyone figured out what the differences are between LDD 1.6 and 2.0? Does it still hog every available CPU cycle? --Bram (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) Hi Anton, Thanks for the info, I'm from the Netherlands to, and I agree using mm's is very logical. Not saying LDraw units are 'bad', but I think they are quite 'large'. Anyhow it's nothing conversion can't solve. I was just curious on which (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad)
