What's new in LDD 2.0?

Anyone figured out what the differences are between LDD 1.6 and 2.0?  Does it
still hog every available CPU cycle?

(...) It is significantly faster and less of a hog. Apparently some people are running into graphic card problems but it's a huge, huge, huge improvement of 1.6. Featurewise 2.0 has a lot of cute things like right-click view rotation and other (...) (17 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) So far I think that may be the only thing. I only see 8-10 % CPU. So much for wishing they would have improved LDD with all the recommendations they got. Back to Ldraw again for me. (17 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)
