  Re: Peeron inventories

(...) Jennifer and Dan: I realize that, but correcting seems to be low priority. Here is an example of what I am talking about. I just finished 7720 Battery Train set last night. It was inventoried from the instructions by Peeron. Please pull up the (...) (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Peeron inventories

(...) John- I said "changes" and additions. That includes corrections. I'm very sure we did not add 16000+ NEW inventories last year. (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

Re: A sad day for BIP?

(...) It is time for me to propose an exam project for my students. Do you think 3-5 software engineering students might be able to design and implement a useful, stable BIP system in six weeks? (I think it might be possible.) I don't think we can (...) (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest

(...) The company's trajectory over the past decade certainly implies that something took a dig at their business. Late 90's: company in financial trouble, saved by unexpected popularity of MindStorms and Bionicle product lines. Early 2000's, (...) (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest

--snip-- (...) I really find it hard to see how the colour change would have been detrimental to TLG in any meaningful way. Perhaps you can elaborate on the idea because I just can't see any connection. Tim (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

  Missing links?

Hi guys, Are there missing any links in the "stable" section (the one with the links to RobotC, pbLua NBC etc) to the left of the forum (most likely since I put them there...)? I don't know if all can edit it but otherwise you can probably write to (...) (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt.nxthacking)

  Re: BrickWorld 2007 - who's getting paid?

(...) I don't think making money from an AFOL event is tantamount to "screwing us hobbyists" - but I also don't think it's right to make money from an event without telling volunteers and attendees what their time, effort, and money is going (...)   Re: What was the question?

(...) The question was: who, if anyone, will be profiting from this event. I started with the assumption that no one would be profiting, since I was going by David's message. After reading Bryan's email, I thought he was saying that he and Adam (...) (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

  Re: Little Aquarium

Hey Nelson, This is really cute. When I first saw the thumbnails I didn't reallize the tank was LEGO - I thought you'd just placed a sea monkey in a small goldfish tank. Bruce (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

  Re: Little Aquarium

(...) Very nice! Took me a moment to figure out the aquarium - the clear parts are very well chosen! In fact, this could be changed to a Sea Monkey Environmental chamber, with some consoles outside the glass to keep sensors on the SM.... Good job! (...)   Re: Straight LEGO Country Flags of 70's and 80's
