  Re: Tatra T-3 Moscow Tram

--snip-- Hi Luca, (...) Yes I completely agree. (...) I agree about the grey windows. Maybe black would work better for a non-transparent colour but dark grey looks too coloured to me for a window. (...) I love these ones. I stole the window idea (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Tatra T-3 Moscow Tram

(...) Hi Luca, I think that Prague trams are not exactly white. See this photo (URL) don't like trams so even though I lived in Prague for almost 10 years, I can count on my fingers how many times I used this loud beast :o) OTOH I know that getting (...)   Re: Tatra T-3 Moscow Tram

(...) Thanks for the compliments too :-) I know the Manchester tram. It is a different version of Turin ML 7000. The TPR 5000 has a very close design with the difference that it is partial low flor. The modern trams are most similar each others, but (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Finaly: I completed my new LDraw render engine

(...) Am I correct in understanding this lets you animate LDraw models in some limited way? If so, very good work getting it done so far. Does it output povray? Tim (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Mindstorms question

(...) The NXT motors have built-in rotation sensors, so you could detect a stall condition with no other hardware. You could use the ultra-sonic (distance sensor) or light sensor to detect when the blade passes in front of it, to determine when the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Mindstorms question

(...) Thanks Steve for the information and the advice. Although gearing up the NXT motors may result in a loss of torque, it sounds like a good option. Another option might be to control the switch for the RC motor with one of the NXT motors (which (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Get Pixel Value Plotter

(...) I was able to connect the "Get Pixel Color" command with the RCX. I run a direct program on the computer, feeding color datum to the RCX. The RCX program is set up to receive the color datum and act on it in a sequential manner. Soon I will (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Re: New micro moc: Suburban Development

(...) Yes, it's supposed to a lady with the pram / stroller. Micro makes very little gender distinction! :) (...) The houses are mostly the same as each other...   Re: New micro moc: Suburban Development

(...) Thanks! The school bus was the first thing I created for the entire display, and it helped set the tone of the whole model. There are some things I'd change on the bus (it doesn't have a door, for example) :) but what can you do? The whole (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

(...) Hi Tim, really a nice work (this is said from a tramways expert!). I like the front side that is typical of the eastern Europe old tramways. I would like to see a Praha (Prague) version, red and white, maybe with the trailer car. Think about (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains)
