Re: The difference between hobbyists and collectors...

(...) Again, if someone gets the 400 dollars for an old set--hey, all teh power to him. However, my personal opinion--jackass. As you say--it's not a matter of 'right or wrong' or morals, because it is, indeed, a matter of opinion. My opinion is (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My first train7 project

(...) Whoa, a blast from the past! Hi Martin! We did experiment with the "blue" lights, red ones and yellows, with both yellow trans and light blue trans domes. By far the blues are MUCH more directional (or "point source" maybe a better way to (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains)

  Re: New Space Sets!

(...) Yeah, I definitely agree with the opinion that a return to exploration-based space sets would be cool. Should have been something like "Mars Mission 2025", pehaps with a modular interplanetary vessel (big set), maybe some robot support (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Feast on something OTHER than X-mas turkey

  Re: What's the difference?

Hello All, Nice and correct description, Luis. A range changer would have a ratio of 1:4 in this example. (16z/16z and 32z/8z) A Splitter would have a ratio of 1: 1.25. (16z/16z and 16z/12z) Hmm, these ratios are a little bit hard to build though... (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: New Space Sets!

(...) The dropship looks good, I'll need to reserve final judgment on the rest until seeing better pictures. As others have said, I'd hoped for a more "exploration" based theme, rather than more space-fantasy conflict. But at least it's space. Kelly (19 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) NXC is something like NQC and it is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms. While NXC is not yet complete, it is very functional with a large API for the NXT.   ReMix of LEGO NXT Starter Robot

Hi All, I've just posted an entry on my blog (URL) on a ReMix project using the LEGO NXT Starter Robot kit.   Re: The difference between hobbyists and collectors...

(...) I guess in this particular instance it's worth what somebody would pay for it. Being someone who's sold a single LEGO piece for two grand, I can see both sides of this.
